About CTPD

Since its establishment in 2003, the Centre for Training & Projects Development (Pty) Ltd (CTPD) has established itself as a respected and preferred centre for internationally recognized professional courses, Management Consultancy services and executive and corporate (short) training and events management portfolios in Namibia.

The company has three distinctive strategic business units which are managed by highly qualified and skilled teams of management and staff members. These units perform different functions as follows:

The Centre for Professional Studies - CPS

The CPS is the only institution in the country that offers tuition for internationally recognized professional institutions such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ACP, CTH, ICSA, LCCI, CAT, and ABMA. Generally, these course programmes do cement knowledge gained at academic degree levels. Globally, they are respected for the practical skills and professionalism they instill in students and graduates and have hence been considered to be major cornerstones for industrial and economic developments of the today’s developed nations.

Management Consultants - MC

The CTPD Management Consultants division is one of the Consultant firms retained by Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Government of the Republic of Namibia responsible for conducting feasibility studies, marketing studies, formulating business plans, projects management and evaluations and mentorships for the Small and Medium Entrepreneurs in Namibia.

This division also assists foreign investors in conducting due diligence, market studies, recruitment of local experts for different types of projects, identification of potential business opportunities etc. The division also supports local and SADC based individuals and organizations in setting up their projects, sourcing business/project capital, structuring and restructuring their organizations and developing and implementing different types of corporate and business strategies.

Corporate Training & Events Management

The ever changing environment is fast eroding relevant skills n many organizations globally, regionally ad locally. This division of CTPD provides short executive and corporate training programmes in form of workshops, seminars, conferences and special events. The unit brings up topics from all different sectors that affect the public in general or specific industries and organizes topic experts from anywhere in the world to come to Namibia and exchange skills and knowledge with the local experts hence contributing to the effective and efficient functionality of our nation and the entire SADC region.

The Centre for Training & Projects Development (CTPD) is a strategic division of Chizu Investments Corporation (Pty) Ltd. A large number of government agencies, state owned, public and private organizations are the company’s important stakeholders.

Company Locations and Facilities

The Centre prides itself of having acquired its own premises that are centrally located to the advantage of customers. The situation of the centre closer to the Central Business area and the polytechnic of Namibia make it quite easily accessible by its customers. The purchase of the premises also allows management to indulge in medium to long term planning without worrying about the risk of premises leases not being renewed. We also have centers in Oshakati and Swakopmund.
