All our course programmes are assessed by respective international professional institutions and same examinations are written throughout the world be it Algeria, Botswana, Canada, France, Kenya, USA, UK, South Africa, Japan or Zambia. How do you apply at The Centre for Professional Studies? In the first instance, you should consult the CPS Executive or enquiries office for entry requirements and course specification.
Read the prospectus carefully before filling in the Application Form. State clearly on the form the title of the course and the month/year when you wish to commence. Write clearly and legibly using capital letters in BLACK ink. You can contact any of our centres get application form or simply download application form or contact any of our centres to get and complete it. The completed Application Form must be sent with passport-size photographs, copies of relevant certificates and the registration fee. An application form sent without these will not be processed. Registration with Professional Awarding Bodies If you are interested in pursuing ACCA, CAT, CIMA, CFA, ICSA, CTH, ACP or any other professional awarding body’ courses other than LCCI, you should ensure that you register with such an institution prior to commencement with your studies with our centre. You will not be able to sit for examinations if you are not a registered member of the body of your interest. CPS office does also assist students to register with the professional bodies. Letter of acceptance After processing the application, you will be sent a Letter of Acceptance which will state that the Centre is willing to offer you a place on the course subject to the payment of the tuition fee in full or in installments and the conditions of which will be stated on the enrolment form and prospectus. For the convenience of overseas students, the Letter will give an estimate of the cost of maintenance in Namibia per year so that foreign exchange may be obtained. Letter of enrolment Upon receipt of the full tuition fee or the first installment of the fee, the Centre issues a Letter of Enrolment (LOE) to overseas students stating that a place has been reserved on the course. Students already in Namibia are issued a Letter of Enrolment only after the payment of their full tuition fee. The Letter of Enrolment may be used by overseas students to obtain a student visa. Entry requirements for LCCI and CAT are set by our centre to be grade 10 for LCCI level 2 and grade 12 for LCCI level 3 and CAT programme. Most top companies target our graduates who have internationally Recognized Professional Qualifications. Globally, employment market for professionally qualified people has so far never been over saturated like that of academic graduates. The Centre working together with respective professional bodies has also embarked on an educational campaign to inform potential employers in government, public and private sectors about performance benefits they are assured of deriving from recruiting holders of internationally recognized professional qualifications.
