Background

The CTPD Centre for Professional Studies was established in 2007 as an important division of the Centre for Training and Projects Development to provide lecture based (taught) professional courses for the examination of internationally recognized major accountancy, administration, business, management and marketing, information technology and systems, purchasing and supply bodies. We are a vibrant and rapidly expanding tuition centre for CIMA, ACCA, CFA, CIPS, CAT, ICSA, CIM, LCCI, ACP and CTH.

clipcentresWe are also an examinations centre for the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry – LCCIEB (Education Development International –EDI), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – Computer Based Assessments (CIMA–CBA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – Computer Based Examinations (ACCA–CBE), the Certified Accounting Technicians – Computer Based Examinations (CAT–CBE), the University of Portsmouth Faculty of Technology, Henley Management College and the University of New England.

The Centre for Professional Studies also offers bridging courses in Accounting, English Language, Business Studies and Mathematics for students who want to upgrade their Higher International General Certificate of Secondary Education (HIGCSE) and/or the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) points and at the same time sit for internationally recognized LCCIEB Diplomas and Group Diplomas examinations.

CTPD is the only Namibian organization that, through its CPS division, currently offers internationally recognized training programs that accommodate grade ten (10) School Leavers. We provide tuition to grade ten (10) School Leavers who are not able to pursue grade eleven (11) to twelve (12) standard of education for the Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) internationally recognized examinations which, if passed, equates them to and even more than first degree qualifications (in terms of relevant professional skills and productivity) and enables them to become effective Accountants and organizational leaders.
Staffed with highly experienced and qualified team of lecturers who will guide you in your studies, we are committed to achieving the best possible success for our students ensuring that they are highly sought after by employers.

Our aim is to have an enviable record of success in helping our students pass the most demanding of professional examinations and to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This is achieved by providing students with a practical environment, within which to practice the skills they have learned in their chosen specialized field.

Over the years CTPD has achieved an enviable reputation among delegates and sponsoring organizations to the extent that many new clients and delegates enroll on our training programs as a result of recommendation from past or present delegates and clients.
